Song: Perfect Place


It was during the mid 90's when a friend of mines young music enthusiast daughter sent me hand written poems/lyrics.
In 2003 in my studio in Washington state, I wrote the music for Perfect Place.
I played acoustic guitar, bass, roland phantom keyboard, sang multiple harmonies and programmed the SR16 drum machine.
I had a close friend lay the "Framptonish" guitar track on my simple song.
The Fostex MR8 recorder was a key piece of hardware for the tracking and mixing. That unit died... and with it went my many songs and hard work.
In early 2026, I found some very old backups of the tracks from the Fostex unit which I totally forgot existed in my petabyte of data storage.
In July of 2026 my hard work was resurrected and is coming ALIVE again with the help of current technology.
I hope you enjoy the first of my many works of art that are destined to live again.
